This PerkinElmer EnVision software issue appeared after the system workstation was removed from a previous domain environment. The customer needed the instrument restored for standalone operation, but the existing computer setup was preventing the EnVision software from functioning correctly and blocking normal communication with the instrument.
Our diagnostics showed that the problem was caused by leftover domain-related and Windows configuration settings from the previous installation. A software reinstall was attempted first, but the system still could not be fully recovered under the existing operating system environment.
We resolved the issue by performing a clean Windows 10 installation followed by a fresh installation of the EnVision software. Once the workstation was rebuilt and configured correctly, the instrument returned to normal operation and communication was restored.
