Agilent 1100 Pressure Problem Repair

Agilent 1100 pressure problem repair was needed for a system that would not build pressure during startup after installation and connection. The HPLC repeatedly failed the pressure test even though the leak test passed, which prevented the system from moving into normal operation.

Our diagnostics included connection review, firmware updates, pump service, and testing of the related support equipment. The pump seals and pump head components were serviced first, but the pressure problem remained. Further troubleshooting showed that the issue was caused by a defective outlet check valve on pump B.

After replacing the faulty valve, the system pressure returned to normal and both the pressure and leak tests passed. We also corrected several supporting issues during the installation, including the nitrogen generator power plug, the vacuum pump cabinet fan system, vacuum pump oil service, and the computer backup battery, leaving the setup in proper working condition.
