When a customer needs Caron environmental chamber installation and drainage setup, especially for pre-owned units, hidden infrastructure issues can prevent proper operation from the start. In this case, multiple chambers were delivered in unknown condition and required full installation, testing, and system integration.
During initial inspection, the chambers were found to be missing proper provisions for external drain pumps, and the existing water supply and drainage configuration was not compatible with the required setup. Further diagnostics revealed a broken water inlet on one unit and significant internal blockages in the drain lines of two chambers, preventing condensation from flowing correctly. After installing new water and sewer lines and integrating external pumps per manufacturer requirements, the blocked drain lines had to be removed and manually cleaned when chemical descaling proved ineffective.
Following restoration of proper drainage, one chamber still failed to reach humidity setpoints. Detailed component checks led to the identification of compromised atomizers, which were replaced to restore humidity control. Final testing confirmed stable operation across all chambers, and preventive maintenance—including cleaning, filter checks, and component replacement—was completed. The systems were fully operational and ready for qualification.
